Campaigners are calling for an inquiry into cuts in funding for HIV/Aids patients.
Research suggests one in seven gay men in the city is HIV-positive and the annual increase in HIV infection runs at 12 per cent - 94 new cases a year.
Yet spending on HIV/Aids services in the city has fallen from £437,000 in 2002/03 to £307,380 for this financial year - a cut of 30 per cent if inflation is included."...
