FREMONT � Twenty-five years after the discovery of AIDS, the Tri-City Health Center's fight to educate the community about the global epidemic is more important than ever.
In 1981, little was known about the disease that would grow to take 25 million lives. Still, while information is more readily available today, prevention and outreach services are in danger at the center because of mounting budget cuts in the last few years. "
